ClinchFence FAQs

Q. Is there any room for error in the spacing of the posts?
A. Yes, plus or minus 1/2".

Q. Do I have to assemble the fence panels myself?
A. No. All panels come fully welded ready to install.

Q. What holds the block in place?
A. A stainless steel tekscrew 1/4" diameter.

Q. What keeps the sleeve in place?
A. A "clinching" of the sleeves onto the block.

Q. Can the panels be cut to fit odd sized openings in the field?
A. Yes, with a portable band saw or sawzall.

Q. How do I adjust panels for grade changes?
A. By adjusting block locations on the post to whatever height necessary.

Q. How do I install the finials and caps?
A. Both die cast zinc and polymer finials and caps drive on tight.

Q. Is it hard to "clinch" the sleeve?
A. No, anybody that can squeeze a pair of pliers can do it.

Q. What is included in the pricing?
A. All panels, posts, sleeves, blocks, fasteners, finials, and caps.

Q. Can I use standard hard tools for installation?
A. Yes, and for high productivity we recommend our tooling package, which includes air oven hydraulic and/or pneumatic clinching, screwing and notching tools. All powered using 60 psi of air.

Q. Will the "ClinchFence" rack to adjust for following grades?
A. No, our product installs using a stair step method.

Q. How is it shipped?
A. Palletized in a stack using specially designed polymer spacing clips interlocking the fence panels/posts then banded.

Q. How do you accommodate different turning angles?
A. 30, 45 and 60-degree pre-cut sleeves, blocks are available. Other angles can be custom cut by installer.
